The 2nd Annual PAWS for the Cause ~ Dog Show

Friday March 16th 2007 British Embassy gardens from 2 pm – 6 pm

Join us for a great day out with Bric-a-Brac stalls, Merchandise Tables, Face-Painting, Fun-dog-competitions, Military Dog Displays, Pet Products, Refreshments, Ask the Vet stall, Tasty snacks & Great Raffle Prizes!

Advance registration with entrance fee required ~ Registration open until March 12th

Admission is limited. Please register early!

To pre-register your dog in any event, please complete the details below  and leave the necessary information at Cutting Edge Salon, Facing the Gulf Road in Salmiya (5718001) or Soho Salon, Fintas (3902077) along with the full names and civil ID numbers of all adults attending – Please ensure that you  include the correct dog show entry fee of KD 5 admission per dog (covers entry to 3 shows).

PAWS for the Cause Shows

Description of Categories:

Best Tail Wagging - Dog (not the handler!) will be judged on the exuberance of their tail motion.

Most Obedient - A chance to show off how well your dog listens to your commands.

Most Mysterious Heritage - A class for those lovable pets whose features cross all lines of breed characteristics. You won't find this class at Westminster or Crufts!

Best Puppy - They're cute! They're adorable! They'll steal the show! This class is for the (fully vaccinated puppies please), 6 months or younger. The judges will surely have a tough time picking the winner of this class.

Best Veteran or Senior Dog - While perhaps showing a little grey around the muzzle, this class of dogs 7 years and older will truly capture the spirit of "man's best friend." The winner of this class will be the kind of faithful companion the judges would most like to have at home.

Most Adorable (ya' jus' gotta luv' me) - They may not be glamorous but they are loving, sweet, and really glad to greet their owners at the door. (This class historically attracts a large number of entries and may be divided and judged as two separate classes).

Best of Show Award - All the 1st place winners from the previous categories are invited back to be judged as the best of show.

PRIZES? The appreciation of the crowd; photos on the website, in the press, in our widely distributed “PAW PRINTS” newsletter and last but not least, you might win a 1st 2nd  or 3rd  Place Winner’s Rosette, custom designed and  produced for PAWS in the USA and unique to this  Dog Show….Future collectable!

All participating dogs must be fully vaccinated: Owners are responsible for their own dogs and keep them on a leash at all times.
